Colin Powell, who in four decades of public service helped shape U.S. national security, died on Monday. He was 84.

Guest: Robert Draper (https://www.nytimes.com/by/robert-draper?smid=pc-thedaily), writer for The New York Times Magazine and author of “To Start a War: How the Bush Administration Took America into Iraq.” (https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/28/books/review/to-start-a-war-robert-draper.html?smid=pc-thedaily)
